Yes, he's doing better. He's getting more feeling and responsiveness on his left side so his nervous system is starting to recover. He still has 2nd and 3rd deg burns but he's at least off the respirator now and his internal injuries are recovering.

Are they still reporting on it there Melkson? I was surprised to see how much news there was on it. I even saw a clip from Fox news in Denver on Yahoo News.

Two things.

First, the serious one -- I'm so happy to hear he is starting to recover. I hope he fully recovers and can once again enjoy the sport we all love.

Now for the satire/humor one --

Even the Gods side with AKA on this one, so maybe we should help him get into a Viking so he doesn't get struck down for using SP products.

Best wishes to him, tell him the community supports him.

they aren't reporting on it, but it IS the interwebs. I went looking for updated info. He is both a fellow paintball player and a local.

Guys, I just have to say that if I get struck by lightening, crash my plane, get hit by a car, or whatever, I'm going to be looking to MCB for some great one liners whether I am dead or alive. That being said, I doubt the same's true for this guy, so I'll refrain.

Anyway, I'm sad to hear this. One of my favorite things to do is to play paintball in dark woods during a thunderstorm (something I started doing at DRAGONMANS in Colorado...though there it was in a rusty car maze, iirc), though this kinda points out why that's a stupid thing to do...I think I'll pack it in from now on. Texas is extremely flat, after all....and EMS light years away.

I think we all want to see what his marker looks like now.

Im glad to hear he is recovering. I hope when he becomes better, he logs into MCB.
