The Gardners aren't related to DLX in any way anymore. Darryl Trent owns that company all by himself, and it does look like he's going with CP. I think the DYE bit was purely a rumor, though I'm sure it may have crossed Darryl's mind. CP seems the logical choice at this point.

Actually, someone just told me, and I can't place any more stock to this than simple rumor, that DP was maybe going to partner with DLX.

DP is upside down themselves, I wouldn't think that would be a very smart move.

A little late to explain this but still, others might wonder... Airsmiths TODAY know to get paid up front because of what SP did to PVI. Remember that in the 80s and hell early 90s, most airsmiths and paintball brands didn't file patents on stuff they considered plainly obvious, and if they did, it was SPECIFIC designs of things. SP's repeated frauds is what forced designers to wake up and patent everything. Tom Kaye never patented powerfeeds for example because he didn't think there was any money to be made from a feed neck with a slot milled into it. And of course, practically every gun maker then copied it and put them on their blowbacks, blowforwards and anything else they offered that fired from an open-bolt. If Tom had patented it, and charged a mere dime per gun royalty, Kingman's Spyder sales alone would have paid for his house.

ah. thanks.

so they just weren't thinking in that mindset back then until after things hit the fan. it's still hard for me to imagine that. i'd have wised up after 1 or 2 small canceled orders, but then again i've already heard what went down.

Before, and after sp filed for Chapter 7, many people were contacted with the intent for a piece of the dirty $$$. I don't think much will ever come of it. It's already been five month's, and white hats has shown no signs of progress.
I'm guessing they were the last sp victims.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
tlane77 He's got a woody for your woods.
