Again, not necessarily. When you agree to buy a bunch of assets for a big pile of money, one of the things you are likely to do before everything is finalized is actually make sure what you're buying is there. In the likelihood, for example, that SP's machines are being purchased, you'd want to inventory them and make sure they are in the condition advertised. That takes a bit longer than typing 500 words.

No, I did not. I put out a press release provided to me by White Hats LLC which said "White Hats LLC...has entered into an exclusive arrangement with secured creditors to purchase all of the assets of Smart Parts Inc."

It's pretty clear that the statement of facts were contained in the original release and reiterated in the second release and that no matter how many times it is restated, people are still going to read more into it than is there.
