Yes'sir.

AlexH was kind enough to let me have this thing for a few days so I could do these videos. He didn't even own it for 24 hours I don't think before he let me take it home.

Thanks Alex!

just picked it up and figured out that you can swap the spring feed with the parabolic plug to put the feedtube facing forward!! this is excellent news.

all in all this is one of the better designed and thought out pumps around right now. and for barely over a C note you cant beat it.

entry level phantom? i say yes.

12ie results. set up:
basic trracer not even adjusted velocity.
spring feed
.682 freak insert with 14"AA tip
DXS hellfire running in the .684-.685 range

temperature about 60*
starting shots in between 275-280
shot 39= 229
shot 40=218

i dont have time to do a full write up and graph but 39 shots to a stock trracer?!?! my god!!

it is definitely thanks to the GIANT ports on the power tube.

You had no velocity spikes at all?

Can you try it with an actually bottle, a 12 oz if you have it. I'd like to compare it to my results.

i did manage to get it to spike. i put on a siphon 3.5 and walked with it pointed down then shot 10 or so times pointing down to get some liquid in it.

it spiked up to 323 first shot but all were within about 5-7 fps.

you can set it to run fine on liquid, the best bet would be to put it on a bottom line though.

Huh...

Have you taken it apart? Are the internals well oiled, or are they dry?

I wonder if the back bottle setup, when used with a larger capacity tank, lets liquid in more easily. If it doesn't spike on the 12 gram then it might be because there is less liquid in the cylinder so it's less likely to make its way into the valve. If this is correct, then a bottom line setup would probably help out... or I'm completely wrong. (very likely)

that is what i was saying mike.

it would be easier just to spring it to run off direct liquid.
