I also see the SL-68II coming down in price now. I have used a SL-68II and they are nice, but they are not modular, nor are they really upgradeable. This new Traccer is wildly upgradeable and modular.

Yes to all. Remember it may have more plastic than the original trracer, but it has just as much metal. The receiver and asa are aluminum, just like the o.g.

thanks
It does not look nor feal "cheap." The composites are of good quality. Yes its a "low end" pump, but it is solidly built.

Alright, that question is just in regards to how the plastic rails would hold up. I've never used plastic mounting rails, will a foregrip, for example, loosen on a plastic rail over time? Will the plastic wear faster?

The plastic pump handle on my trracer was great, however I've always been on a quest to replace the trigger frame with a metal one.

Anyone going to Fall Castle at EMR. I'll bring these, so people can check them out. That's not this weekend, but next weekend.

Have a look and feel (not just me... the gun is what we'll be concentrating on ), and we can take one apart, etc. Plus other goodies...

... This just made my whole day! As a PMI Trracer user, I am looking forward to this thing incredibly.

The fact that the internals are compatible with old Trracers is something I'm particularly happy about; it's really, really nice to see that there are companies that pay attention to stuff like that. Empire just made a whole bunch of people pretty happy.

Is it an adjustable bolt velocity control? (down the barrel adjustment) or do you have to dink around with springs?

I wonder if they're going to make it so you can actually slide the spring feed away from the breech and use the first strike capabilities....

Somewhere in the impromptu Q&A Manike said adjustable bolt. Allen key I think.
