I wonder if that's to keep the price down, after all most people swap regs anyway.

Honest question:

How does it compare to the Etek that's $100 less?

Well, the Etek that is 100 less is the LT model which comes with a GRN (Glass Reinfoced Nylon) Composite Gripframe, eyecovers and Feedneck. 'The Beast' is all metal and comes with an OLED Board as evidenced by the photos of the windowed grip panel.

Performance wise, we will have to wait and see since the marker was only announced last night. Further Details will be available as I get them.

Which doesn't match it either and kills the whole macroline free feature? No thanks. Even if they wanted to cheese on on the milling, they could at least try a nice rubber sleeve similar to Dye hyper regs and make some lame attempt to TRY and match it. Very counterproductive on their end.

I have nothing against Alien, but hell, when a big detail screams lack of effort, it makes me think what else they forgot on it...

Well, considering that the reg is aftermarket, 3rd party, and only used to illustrate the ability to add the reg and macroline, I think it is forgivable. especially since the reg is, in most respects superfluous and used as an example.

The other alien guns are made in the US, "the beast" is not.

Stock boards LED, but can be Upgraded to the OLED

Its basically a stripped down Independence, same internals, bolt, 4eye capable, and sub 60 psi lpr.

I'm not going to generalize and say it looks like everything else but I am underwhelmed. Really, how hard is it to come up with something that stands apart?
