| MCB Member | What? I mean... what? The A5 flatline is the coolest looking barrel around, it looks pure business. This, this is just another H&K rip. Meh, I say. Oh and by the way, has there been a redesign of the HE grip at all? That's easily the most common return we have, not fun.

it'd be pretty cool if they included a sliding stock, a 9mm curved mag, and a new flatline, kind of like bt did awhile back with the bt4

dont get me wrong, unlike lots of people I love the cyclone design, it was something truly original and a good idea, but you cant have a part like the ratchet for which the most is asked of on the entire gun made of cheap plastic!

They dont use metal because its the wrong material. Tippmann generally doesnt use plastic parts just to cut costs, if a metal ratchet worked better they would put it in. After market companys make products that they can sell to people, not products that necessarily improve the performance, just look at all the bolts and squishy paddles made for Tippmanns. useless. The ratchet Tippmann uses is designed to flex, its part of the whole feeding system, design to be easier on the paint. they have changed the ratchet material at least a half a dozen times, trying to find the perfect balance of strength with flex. first guns out it was almost rubber, then it was hard as stone. |

| Deluxe super psychedelic | I see your point, its possible that all the ones I dealt with back in the day were a bad type of material. to be absolutely honest mine was fine but based on what I was seeing in the field and online (a5og) i was always worrying when mine was going to go (apparently unjustified). I can see why flexibility would be desired.
