| Active Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Fresno, CA  | I'm also curious how used items are valued. Buy new at $100, use it and sell as used for $90. Did I lose $10, or do I depreciate it at $10 to break even? What is the depreciation schedule for stock class brass with an expected life of forever? Best I recall, bartering isn't taxed either.
