Well, if I know Blue/Deuce...

Assuming one thousand players on game day, there will be 200-ish inside the Castle and 800-ish attacking. Four-to-one is the standard ratio they shoot for.

Here's what's really going to happen though...

On game day, there will be two hundred eager defenders, give or take and the attackers will include all the mook pass holders and other folks who never pre-reg'd, so the attacker count will be anywhere from 800 - 1000 depending on how many extras show up.

This is one Castle in which I will not mind being an attacker... mud and all.

Castle!

D.

What else is new? I think I'll be parking up at the top of the hill, lest I need to be pushed out again.

With weather like this who needs tents

So I guess me and my crew will either cave and do the hotel thing or rent giant vans...

Hi,

Hopefully we will get some serious dry weather up there. Make the mud into dirt and no more snow. I will be there on Saturday.

So I guess being 2 hours away and not going is out of the question.

Never been to Castle- are there a lot of pump players? It seems like more firepower might be desirable.

You have to go, just like everyone else.

A lot of pump players switch to semi for this game only, though there are always some pumpers who stick with it. Honestly, you can be a big help with minimal firepower if you're willing to throw your body at the walls/doors to grab some territory.

Here's to a Mudfest at EMR! Anyone who thinks a dryspell could clear it up in time is in denial.

How far is the "Dead Zone" from the action?

One problem the "Coram Big Game" has always had was the primary recycle zones were right in major firefight areas.

At times, it was absolute BEDLAM. Especially if your group is being recycled into a zone controlled by the other side!! (That doesnt seem to be an issue for the Castle game though)
