The AXE is a great marker at a great price point. Very efficient, light, fast and quiet.

I shot a mini all last year...I've been playing for a while and I've owned some pretty expensive custom guns. The reaction I got from a lot of players who know me was the same..."Why are you shooting that?" My response? "An ego doesn't shoot $950" better. I will most likely be picking up an Axe this season so this news makes me smile.

So Bad Company shot spiders and we still have $1500 dollar markers in the hands of the agglets. While its nice to see a top level team shooting a lower price point gun, its not the first time and until they will big most people will still blame their lack of success on the gun (Oh they could have won XXX tourney if they were shooting the super wizbang instead of the Axe).

Nice to see a pro team shooting lower-priced guns, but I'm pretty sure Dynasty or some other SP-sponsored team at the time ran with Ions for a season or two as well, so it's not going to stop the kiddies with Mommy and Daddy's money from spending it on high-ends.

Personally, I like the Axe but after the noid problems I had with my TM7 and KEE's piss-damn-poor customer service I don't see myself ever owning one of their guns again. Which sucks because I have a lot of respect for the design end of their products.

It was only Alex Fraige, not the entire team, that shot the Epiphany for a season.

What?

We all know that the axe retails for $459. That is not new news.
