But wait I thought that DLX was its own company and had NOTHING to do with smartparts what would a company that so obviously has no ties at all with SP be doing with the Impulse and why would they be so generous to people who supported their "competitors"

When they split off from SP during the bankruptcy thing, they took over the Impulse repairs since alot of what was in the Luxe was also in the Impulse

In the way back past, Smart Parts gave a similar trade in credit on the earliest generation shockers. I visited their factory and they had a few trashcans full of them, it was a crazy sight.

When I asked what they were going to do with them they said they emptied the trash cans into the dumpster whenever they got full. They explained that they simply wanted them off the market so they didn't have to continue tech-supporting them. Perhaps that's their intent with this Luxe buyback?

My question, DLXtechnologies.com has apparently been sold to zephyrpaintball.com. I assumed this meant that DLX was totally out of business. Do they have a different website? What's up with that?

odd question though with GoG coming to the market and GI milsim running .50 cal impulses how is there a shortage of parts since its still being made.

From what i understand though the 09 impulse was a good and smooth gun. $500 is a good price since thats about what they go for on the used market now too

GoG isn't making the Impulse, and from what I understand, someone else correct me here, GI Milsim either isn't making .50 Impulses. They have them on the site, but has anyone actually seen them for sale?

Interesting. Maybe there are parts on the .68 that there aren't on the .50?

No one in the Impulse section on PBN says the 50 cal parts are interchangable.. the gun is so much smaller so i doubt much is interchangable.

PBN says to go to DLX if you want to get it checked..
