Just perusing the March PB2X, which is basically their photo-exihibition issue.
...and came across this. (might have already been posted.)

...not sure if the comment about "what he could do with modern gear" is really a compliment though??

I'm not sure that he will feel complimented as the "Ollie Lang" of pump play or being called "amusing" either.

I think Baum must only have snapped pictures without ever talking to him to write that about him.

That's his homemade lever-action that he has named "justice". Embedded in it is a quarter or something that he won from Glenn Palmer (by shooting him). Think Arnold Schwarznegger on the Harley in Terminator 2.

You know, it would take maybe five minutes to ask him a few questions so you didn't have to publish that kind of junk. But then... it IS a paintball magazine and considering what their target audience is I'm not terribly surprised.

i'm not sure how he feels about being called the "Oliver Lang", but it still would be somewhat flattering for Weltman despite how much most of the people around here feel about OL. i guess you have to get the point across to the people that worship OL somehow. lol...

At least they spelt his nickname correctly.

He's good people.

I think that is the most clothes I've ever seen on him, must be awfully cold outside.

Man, to me, the only paintball celebrity IS Weltman! Hehe...

I love his marker setup... what I would to for that...

And who needs "modern ramping equipment" and 'speedball'.. isn't the game all about going out and having fun with friends while shooting at them?!

I second all of the above. Weltman came down to the Deadwood scenario game in Dalton, GA last year. Temps were in the 40s and he ran around with no shirt on.
