the particular markers i'm refering to are the Worrlord and the Worrlock. one is basically a timmy under the WGP name, the other is similar to the Black Magic autococker from 06(?) with the internal pump rod, except both now have 'body pannels' for cosmetic reasons (a la the SP Ion) the problem i really have with their 'autococker' offering is that it really isn't an autococker anymore. there's no front block, no back block, no 4-way. basically, they've stripped out everything that made the Autococker what it was in an effort to appeal to the tournament kids, as soon as they removed both the front and the back blocks, it ceased being an autocoker to me, and became 'reminicent of an auto-cocking marker' i do have to agree that in the past several years, it was the Trillogy that was the greatest sucess of WGP. while they did eliminate the front block, they kept all the major components and most importantly, the cycling backblock, while making it far more affordable to newer players. if i have the free cash, at some point i'd love to pick up a trillogy just to have one on hand.... alas, i am a college student, and free cash is somewhat of an oxymoron.

About WGP, I do agree it's crappy that they're going away from what they're famous for. But it seems to me that they're kinda torn between staying w/their expertise and trying to keep up w/the market. I kinda expected this for a while now. It's a shame people are straying from cockers. Many locals 'round here though are starting to get into them again though (myself included), which is always nice to see.
