I've owned one since last year, but never fully tested it.... Working on the testing now. Issues with getting hoses and bleeding it, etc.

Right there with you ezcreation, this thing is great. My wife hates the noise, but the ability to fill tanks at home is awesome. If you are a tinkerer you will really appreciate the Shoebox. Tom Kaye is the nicest guy and is crazy quick to help you out with any technical issues you may run into! Absolutely love the little red bomb maker!

I want one so bad. I have to drive 45 mins one way to fill my tanks, so this would be so helpful.

The bleeding systems plainly sucks and even Tom Kaye will somewhat agree (but as he pointed out for $430 you cant expect a Ferrari).
What we did is basically remove the shoebox bleeding (unscrew it) and made a T connection: one line going to Scuba tank, other to paintball tank (with an on/off valve). So we can purge both way easily and never have had a problem since.

Just for filling up to 3500 I like my manual pump like this It gets the job doner and to fill a 68ci tank it takes me only about 10 minutes, and you can do it rather easy

I really want one of these. I knew they were coming out for a while and I've been unable to get one due to a lack of funding.

I just got my email on friday that mine is ready to ship, so should be here in a few weeks. I'm really looking forward to working it and my scubas into my shops pneumatic system.

while the price tag(525 total to ship to canada) might raise some eyebrows. The amount that I think it'll save me and my squad in this season alone is going to be ridiculous. Not to mention the convenience of a having a ready source of 4.5k air when teching and tinkering.

The shelf has already been built for it over my standard shop compressor and while I bought the 4.5K model, waiting next to that shelf is a series of high pressure fitting and an industrial regulator to drop it down to 3k for my tanks and scuba. I got the higher one so I could have the option of doing 4.5k fills as well. If the noise becomes an issue I'll just convert the shelf to a sound insulated cabinet. The only other thing I'm doing to this is replacing the air desiccant and water trap going into my shop compressor then installing two of the same between the shop compressor and the shoebox. Those are just cheapies so I figured why not double up.
