I would love to see these tactical divisions pick up in participation. Unfortunately, with unlimited being where the pro's and the glory are, I don't see many teams travelling to compete in these. I would love to see competition in this sport move away from the he-who-throws-the-most-paint model.

Glad to see pump division seems to be at least on par with the NPPL registration given the short notice. Would be great to see a few eliminated semi-teams throw their hats in too!

Tactical / Limited Paint is where it's at if you ask me.

We run the Gravity League up here in New England, and Rayn, you've been there.... The participation is usually greater than for unlimited leagues.

The unlimited guys usually don't show up to these events because they don't know HOW to shoot so little paint. It really takes movement and actual skill (snap shooting) that a lot of people lack or have forgotten how to do.

I'm excited for these leagues. This is good news for the sport.

So, I'm going to make this more interesting.

I will personally pay whichever team wins Tactical RaceTo-2 at the Chicago Open $1,000.

Agreed.

Pump being half the cost of NPPL, same location, and only 1 day event should draw out more pump teams. Sadly there were only 5 for Chicago NPPL
