now lots of people have mentioned the mini-reg based on its unorthodox aesthetics. has anyone questioned its performance?

mini regs are not a new concept. They generally haven't taken off in popularity because they cant flow for ****.

The only internal difference of the new HPR compared to the old one is a new internal piston, which is actually a superior design to the old version so it will perform just as good as the original CCM regs but will requie less maintenance and when maintenance is required, only an o ring will need replacing rather than the entire piston. It isn't anything I would worry about performance wise, it will uphold the CCM standard we expect.

I think CCM would test the reg thoroughly before making the final decision. If it doesn't work they will revert back to the longer reg. CCM might mill it to look more futuristic or something to go with the flow, but I don't mind either way.

It was stated in this thread (or one of the other ones) that it would be released around the new year...

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
tlane77 He's got a woody for your woods.

Why are people complaining about the small reg? Why would you be holding it anyway?

but we're talking about a pump gun... you don't need super fast recharge rates.

Also, I'd point out the AGD regs, which are puny and flow massive amounts
