I remember Rod mentioning that same thing when we were at Pandemonium. May have to do with the new barrel, or just the milling on the marker, but it sounds "lighter" than a typical CCM.

I've never had a big problem with that, but it is a possibility.

I dunno about flying "more flat" but it was easier to aim with the 14" barrel and the shots seemed very consistent. I was using AG field paint (Heat IIRC) and the .684 sizer. It definitely has a different sound than other CCM guns. Maybe Carter can get some chrono data.
Thank you for reminding me about what prototypes are for. Yes it is intended to add the "finishing touches" on the marker by tinkering before final release. Nothing more frustrating than spending money on a marker and not being able to play with it.

SueDog, any idea what the operating pressure maybe set at? And are effieciencies any better with this as opposed to previous designs?
Aloha Splattt! Sorry, No clue at all for now - but a really good question. Access to the lower tube of the marker is through the front, not the back. Raising the IVG is by sticking an allen wrench in through the back and turning it counter-clockwise. Yup counter-clockwise! The marker is surely different from what I am used to working on and will wait for CCM to disclose what was promised to be "different" from what many are used to.

Understand that Carter is working with CCM on coming up with a special reg tester that can be used for this marker. I was told that the marker is running around or below 280. If so, that would be interesting since the T2 and 6.5 reg. out of the factory is set up at 350.

Just got off speaking to Rod. He already has a good idea about how to fix the burping. Exciting.

Welina... SueDog, just curious as to whether you've had the pleasure of taking it apart yet? This gun does sound different.

mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

Have not had the pleasure of taking it apart. Will take the marker to different fields this weekend to get as many as I can to play with it and give feed back. Was cautioned not to take it apart. Was told, what I will find is totally not like anything I know. Gotta honor ccm's request for now. Thank you for asking.

Heh sorry, didn't mean to come off as condescending there. Was addressing the suggestions to modify/take it apart for anyone that didn't "get the memo" so to speak, which is obviously not your case.

Aloha Grimace!, No need to apologize. Knew what was intended and appreciate it. Thank you just the same. Blessings.

This thing would dominate if it were internally gassed instead of macro lined. Doesnt look too hard to do. Especially with lower operating pressures this marker is sure to run on.
