That is what I was thinking....no jury rigged top loader, you could mount the back pack to the wall and it feed over to the marker....tons of spray from a tank and in a nice compact arrangement.

I think this would be great to modify a marker to a bottom feed and run this up through that bottom feed. that will leave your top profile free and clear.

Brett had to go with some stout tubing to keep the feed from getting pinched

As I've been pointing out to people for a long time, no matter how fast they feed, they still only go in one direction at a time...
Yes, that's me back there. One of my favorite PB quotes I've said, which may have come to me from one western or another, was when a ref said "What'd you shoot him in the back for?" and I replied "well... His back was to me!". I don't surrender people since paintknifing was banned at HS. The surrenderee has the option to try to spin on you, not accepting the surrender. This creates WAY more unsafe situations than a single shot from a 12g pistol chronoed at 280.

All that aside! I have the example of Viper to remind me that there IS a place for ridiculous amounts of firepower out of one guy. As long as he's supported properly by his teammates and is good at what he's doing!
I just don't personally think this is the best way to create that guy. Function, whether it works, these things matter AFTER you buy it. Whether it's the best way to accomplish what you intend to do should determine IF you buy it.

Now if it had a shark fin on it, I'd get one.

well for the price of a dye rotor its pretty awesome. i could see using it for rec ball or big games like DDay. but the way i see it, its not how fast you can empty it but rather how much more it allows you to take with you and how much easier it is to carry that amount! my 4 pods + hopper get me through it most of the time at my small games but for larger more target rich ones, i find myself starving to a reload several times a day. to me this backpack actually makes things more simple for the regular player- but whats important is that you shouldnt change you play style to suit your equipment.

still, for those gotta-have minigun moments- id love to try this out on a Nova

$200 isn't too bad I guess, but that's also just a pre-order. I've seen most pre-orders either go not so well, bad, or terrible depending on how much of a delay there is in the product or if the product ever comes out.

Stripes' Phantom feed kit (which he made right and the product looks to be happening)

Just to name a few, but the list is long. Mar on the other hand (and me, shameless plug) took no money prior to product being available. It's tough to float it, but if you need money, get a business loan, don't potentially burn/upset your customer base.
