if you use Redrock distributing to get Leland 12g's....

Just ordered some lelands from Redrock this weekend and emailed today to check on the status of the shipment. I received this reply and wanted to let people know since I know there are others out there who go through them:

Hi Chris,

We ran into an unusual problem, as unbeknownst to me our incoming
order of cartridges from Leland did not include our normal quota of
12 gram unthreaded cartridges.

That portion of their container was held at the port for FDA inspection
and
that can take an indeterminate amount of time.

Regards,
John Sloan

feel free to post up if you know of other online sources for lelands.

It shouldn't take long unless the government shuts down, maybe a week or two. They will probably just check the paper work for the batch, although they could quality test some since these are food grade. The FDA doesn't have many lab scientists.

lelands are from japan not china right. If they are from china, who knows.

They're based here.....New Jersey...but might be made elsewhere....that would explain why when I called the main office to place an order in the spring they said they were out for a couple months. I couldn't understand how the plant that made them was out of them....but if they're imported that would make more sense.

I just got my order for 50 from them, all are stamped "Made in Japan" .....they come just inside a priority envelope that was place inside a small cardboard box, other than that shipping fast relatively fast ( 5 days).

Tippman 'Special Force' are Lelands.

Blister packs of 12, so not necessarily as cheap as a bulk buy, but if you need some they're probably common for stores to stock.

I got a box of 100 from Redrock a week ago. Packed exactly as raptor69r stated.

Fast shipping, excellent transaction. Awesome that they offered you MOSA in exchange, I've heard them to be equally excellent.

Sounds like fantastic treatment from them, I will continue to do business with them in the future.

Well mine will be in stock shortly and for sale in the dealers section.

Spoke with Leland today and it seems they do most of the work on them here in the US. They only get the 12gs from Japan in large numbers.

So far so good.
