TBH I'm getting a little tired of hearing about FS conversions and then not hearing anything at all. D-Mags, Metadyne FS tubes and TPX conversions - all awesome, but I'm tired of the run around.

Assuming an ability to accurately aim a pistol, which in my case is just often enough to keep me coming back, at one per opponent I can't imagine needing hundreds of them.

This is truth, my first experience with a T8.1, I was handed the gun loaded with first strikes and played a 1v1 against my friend. My first 3 shots all impacted him (we played till you got hit, reset, and went again, 3 shots for 3 separate rounds)

That being said, I like the feel of the Tac8 more than the TPX, so I think I'll be sticking there

A little off topic...

the base idea of a blow forward bolt/valve combo isn't something that AGD has really fought against others using.

The following all use a similar blow forward - spring return design:

ATS
Tiberius T8.x / 9.x / T4
X7 Phenom (as "LilShank" already mentioned)
TPX




If you open up to electros then you have the blow forward, pneumatic-air return markers then the list goes on and on...:

Ion, Vibe, SP1, Epiphany ect...
Dye SLG, RAIL
Dangerous Power G3, Threshold...
and so many other "low/mid range" spool valve markers.

This is correct. "PistolPete93" just posted on TPB that his website will be the manufacture AND selling venue.

Asked about both the expected release date (if there is one), and if modified mags will be available separately. Hopefully he responds with at least one of those answers.

For the person that said about the jack in the box, really simple fix is to make sure you leave the barrel screwed into the block during dis-assembly. This enables you to hold down on the little block in the front which will in turn hold everything in place.

Man Eric from tippmann is going to pissed about this lol....when I asked him why they had no plans of making a FS compatible platform on the tipx his response was rather blunt: "Those things are dangerous, it's never ever going to happen unless they find a way to get rid of the plastic shell, some noob will kill himself"....

I'm tired of people coming out with preproduction stuff and showing it off and then running into manufacturing snags. Wouldn't it be novel if somebody came out with an awesome idea and had an initial run already made so that the people who turn rabid over products can actually have them.

I'll use myself as an example. It took something like 8 months for my pump kit to go from idea to product. It was all open from the beginning and I didn't even start the ball rolling. It was my first time making something that wasn't a one-off hobby item for myself and I ran into many things I wasn't expecting to that caused delays.

This kit is obviously different and it seems that this isn't Pete's first rodeo, so we'll see.

My TPX is the semi-auto counterpart to my FS shooting Trracer, but I can see myslef getting another in the future and toying around with a build of some sort.
