Magazine-fed Spyder: MRX

No info on price yet, but it's going to be splitfire like some of the RAP-4 guns.
Normal Spyder layout inside, though this one, like all Kingman's 2012 guns, has the Eko valve.

Kingman originally claimed the Eko valve would yield 1800 shots from a 20oz fill, but has now lowered that claim to 1500. Independent testing shows the actual number to be around 1650.
Magazine holds only 11 rounds. No word yet on whether it's first strike enabled.

Kingman has also announced another gun called the MR100 which will replace the MR1. Price is $100, and there are no pictures yet but it sounds as though it will be the same gun as the MR1 but Eko-valved and with picatinny rails on the side.

I was hoping the gun would look less hokey.

The sight rail and barrel shroud are almost certainly removable.
Take those out of the picture and it's all-business.

It's probably too much to hope for that the magwell will take the Tacamo D-Mags, or that there are Picatinny rails under that raised sight rail, but if there are this might need to be a purchase for me.
Strip it down, put a 13ci tank on it,...

Same thing I want to do.. My RAP-4 sucked on compressed air honestly, I sold it based on that and that it was just to clunky for what I intended it for.

Plus with this... Kingman = cheap, so those mags will be cheap? (crosses fingers)

I've been wanting a First Strike capable gun in a Sport configuration for a long time (that's right, Sport-Sim baby!). I don't care if it uses the D-Mags or their own design. I'm getting rather tired of waiting on the D-mags anyways.

I hope so.
It certainly has the potential to be far lighter and shorter than one of the cheap Tacamo-converted Mag-feed Tippmanns.

Changing the feed system by turning the barrel gives me pause though. I would guess that means this gun is not going to be Spyder threaded, nor that the barrel will be easily removable... unless the barrel somehow threads into a rotating breech bit that can be locked in with a button... There's a couple of different ways that could work.

Why in the name of all that is holy can not a SINGLE company make a freaking straight mag! These crooked AR-esque mags look like everything bad in life for no real purpose!

My God! So many mag-fed markers borked up so fast...

Well, there's the T4 (which with a grip swap to a phantom 45 block and some modification to accept an external air line would fit my ideal layout pretty well, too bad it's so expensive), and the previews of the D-mags show them to be straight.
