Maybe a silly question but is the fore grip in BL's Victory just a fore grip or is it a reg?

It's supposedly Marq based, which is an inline poppet gun. You can see how the bolt is now decoupled from the poppet action, and is attached to the pump arm linkage. I'm 95% sure that's a hammer in the rear housing. I've highlighted the pin which will push it back, also on the hammer linkage.

It's not electronic, as far as I can tell.

Victory has a reg up front, board in the grip.

The Marq used the same design as the old TFX-2000, so it probobly looks something like this inside:

The main question here is the hammer and bolt connected? or does it use the more traditional crosman setup?

Lovecraft, the bolt is definitely decoupled. You can see it attached to the pump arm with a pin. The hammer is only cocked back with the pump arm, not coupled to it.. I assume that it rides on a powertube coming out of the valve.

If it requires a discussion about how it works from a pretty good cross section drawing.............I don't think I want it.

am I the only one that has a love of pump guns because they are generally simple and easy to maintain?
