I just bought one, but unfortunately mine is out for anodizing with my T2. I have yet to even test it because of this. I did appreciate Palmer accommodating my request for a raw cart reg, I was very happy about this.

Maybe that makes the difference. WGP regs are similar in design to the CPs, but use a urethane seat. Generally, they are considered to be fairly good on CO2.

If a buna reg seat can't handle temp fluctuations, then you get creep, and your reg will be garbage on CO2.

As for the overpressure relief, I think that it's a little overstated on Stabs...I took a look at it and I think it would be more functional with some adjustability, although it does provide a failsafe.
These have been my findings as well. I think I will turn a reg pin that accepts the topedo urethane disk and put it in my CCM reg and see what I get.

I think it is common PPS mythology that they have cornered the market on C02 regulation. MCB is primarily responsible for this fan boy based mythos.

So true. AA regs work well on Co2 as long as you change the piston o-ring to the harder 90 durometer version. I and other have succesfully used vigilante's on old shoebox shockers. Cant really think of a gun that use more Co2 at a rate as quick as that. Older Uni-regs and Black Ice's work well also. 98% of using Co2 with a reg is HOW you use it, not as much as what reg you use. First off, match an anti-siphon tank to your bottomline, thats the largest portion of prepping your gun to use Co2. Fill your Co2 tank to 75% to help keep from flooding the reg, and use a gun that operates below 450psi or so. Keep how you hold your gun when not shooting in mind, so you dont flood the reg, and do NOT set your gun down in the open sunlight, you will spike the pressures quickly. Do NOT put a cover on your Co2 tank, all it will do is slow down thermal transfer to warm your tank back up. Watch your rate of fire and how long of a string you shoot, just dont go crazy on the trigger, basically. I think the only reg I couldnt use on Co2 very well was an old Angel mini reg. The original Bob Long Torpedos work pretty well without modifications.

Keebler - Take apart and old Torpedo and a PPS Fatty - and look inside. Virtually no difference.
