I hear ya. I personally prefer 12" barrels to help w/ snap shooting while staying tight to whatever cover is available... but I think the 14" length was chosen for two reasons - 1) 14" is the most common choice and 2) to optimize "everything" you need 9.5"-10.5" control bore to get the ball up to speed efficiently plus a few inches afterwards for porting. I'll be testing my new tightstick out this weekend head to head against my .682 9.5" control bore 12" total length kaner and (hopefully) against a 14" V2 eigenbarrel. I hate to start suggesting mods before a decent test drive. Look for my post this coming Monday.

Looking forward thumper. Are able to also test sound output as well? Or just accuracy? Or consistency or all of the above?

lol. Ill post up my purely subjective, entirely non-anal, completely non-scientific opinion on the matter.

I know I can't be the only one who prefers this to hard data.

Everybody knows Velcor hates hard data. Heck, I piss myself just looking at the top row of keys.

gut feeling and intuition are more valuable than hard data most of the time, but scientific process and clean data are valuable instruments nonetheless

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
tlane77 He's got a woody for your woods.
