Yep I saw that on YouTube...seems like a good idea, as long as they have executed it well. Adds a little realism to the guns.

Had this idea many years ago, except I think mine was to block the existing trigger/sear and prevent it from releasing the bolt in the first place. This is more like... a second sear. Difference being with this implementation, you have to recock after an anti-chop event.

The reason it took so long to come out was it would probably have been a bit touchy with a gravity-fed amount of force. Force-fed hoppers (and magazines) make this more realistic.

Pre-order?

Looks like a good idea as long as the bolt is stopped before the hammer moves too far to be re-caught by the sear.

I do like the principle, but for 70$ and the extra wear on the bolt, it doesn't quite seem worth it. But, I suppose realism costs a premium.

Recocking after running a magazine dry makes sense when we're talking about magazine fed guns. That said, the Phenom should just go "puff" and recock itself since it's a spring return blow forward.

As for bolt wear, it shouldn't be too bad since it doesn't have any space to build momentum before it hits the catch.

the video on the rap4 website was down right embarrasing for there magazine system. that video only confirms why i wont buy a rap4 marker. with one of the mags, he bumped it or something and all the balls went flying out of it. and the other completely failed. I dont want to be hating on the guys who are looking for more realism in their play style but that feed design looks like a POS

I think it's a great idea, and hope it's not too expensive. Or if it is, somebody makes a cheaper clone. Having to recock after you insert a new mag is a nice touch.
