Yeah. For the record my frame of reference is when I was mod there, roughly 2002-2007. So I have NFI what has gone on since then. Well I know about the crowdgather stuff because that is pinksheet penny stock land.

Not sure there would even be a case as CG owns the domain-the logo can be changed an imo isn't really worth 250K

This! Most people don't remember that back in the early 90s there was a mad rush to snatch up domain names matching companies. IE, nike.com, pepsi.com, coke.com, etc... Then, people would sell them back to the original company for big money. Later, courts ruled that domains were covered by properly registered trademarks and it killed the domain rush. So, not sure why CG didn't purchase the PBNATION trademark, or how it could be enforced. It'll be interesting to watch.

That was called the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act of 1999.

For an interesting intellectual read, check out the case on point that was required reading for my class: Virtual Works v. Volkswagen

I don't think anyone in their right mind would spend that much on a copycat URL and whatever else they're selling (I'm confused at this point). Who would want paintballnation when there's already a pbnation?

Someone hurry and make michaelcarterbrown and sell it for $80,000
