Not having to worry about the balls swelling in the heat and actually being able to play in the rain and not having the rain screw with your paint is pretty revolutionary. For a beta batch these seem to be pretty awesome and can only get better after HydroTec reviews beta testers feedback and makes improvements.

For the love of Velcor, They (HydroTec) did not set that price, PBE DID. If HydroTec sells their paint for $65-70/case I would but it. I live in a area where rain is the norm and if you want to play outdoors your main choice is outlaw ball. This makes playing in the rain practical, I wont have to cover my barrel porting or worrying about rain getting in my stickfeed and ruining paint. This paint can only get better.

What are you talking about? Now you can hide under water, jump out and shoot people.

Playing in the rain will still suck. When water gets in your barrel, it will cause your paint to fly any direction except straight... Your paint swelling in most climates is only part of the problem.

A two year shelf life and no swelling or dimpling is worth a great deal in my book. Looking forward to some reviews on the Armada paintball.

Who keeps paint for over a year?

I typically don't store paint so it doesn't matter.
And during the day the only paint I've seen go to crap was diablo heat cuznit was garbage

I have purchased a case of paint and had it for nearly a year before I used it all. I play a good bit of pump - used to play even more than I do now.
