Looks kind of plasticy from that picture alone. Maybe just the lighting, but the bigger question is if that is the actual picture of the pistol, then how does it hold a 12 gram and six giant .68 cal paintballs and remain so tiny.

Its not. It is a picture of one of Rap4 pistols (rap226 i think). Before they had a kingman eraser picture...

Their employees apparently watching both MCB and Mislim Empire. First they removed the Eraser picture, and now they put a description under the picture. (See HurtCow post below)

Under development with MCM is a pistol launcher designed specifically and exclusively for DMAG Launchers. Although capable of holding up to six 18 mm (.68) caliber finned projectiles in its magazine, this pistol is the most compact, less-lethal, pneumatic launcher of its kind.

The body holds a 12 gram disposable CO2 cartridge that powers up to eight shots before needing replacement. Thia pistol is built for high performance. It is highly accurate with a built in regulator that stabilizes muzzle velocity under any weather condition, especially during rapid fire. As well, the pistol frame is made of aircraft aluminum and a tough polymer for the highest durability under rough use.

The pistol is designed to fill a critical gap in the use of force and to provide the safest, most effective less-lethal weapon available today. It will be capable of firing First Strike training rounds, SmartRounds smart bullets, or other d-shaped rounds.

Sounds like terrible efficiency!

Why do we keep putting regulators in pistols. For what? Accuracy ? Just make it small reliable and get plenty of shots on co2. I'd use the kingmen but they don't allow .43 around here

Regulators make a huge difference. Instead of relying on thermal expansion to expand the liquid in the cartridge into usable gas, a reg provides you with a stepped down pressure inside the gun that ensures you get every last bit of energy from your cartridge. They also improve consistency. With an unregged gun, your velocity drops linearly as you shoot. With a properly designed reg system, you'll get fairly flat velocity until the cartridge is almost expended. We managed to do this without a reg in the Retros to some extent, but in a semi auto pistol, there's no way you can get that kind of regless performance since the firing rate is higher.
