Personally I would argue that SP was resourceful and not evil as well. It's really not their fault that there were dozens of designs out there with no patents. If you drop a dime and i pick it up can you honestly blame me?

If you spend $2 to make a dime and that dime is taken from somebody who needs said dime to fight cancer that they're dying from......... What's allowable in business isn't always what's best for PR. However, I would much rather this thread stay about the new marker as the patent wars are fairly old hat. SP got stomped enough that they now have to focus on being innovative and keeping their customers happy. I'm good with that.

I'm a little late to this thread, but in regards to copycats: Tons of folks used to saw off their trigger guards in order to make a custom double trigger... ... and then companies started marketing double trigger markers. THE NERVE!

This thing is going to be sweet with a Winchester and 13/3000. I am new to SP/GOG markers, how are their stock barrels? Usable, or am I going to have to buy my first... sigh... Impulse threaded barrel? |

If you have a Freak kit, just buy a used back. They're usually around $20-$30. From a technical stand point, it's a good threading system. It's quick to screw in and out. It's useful for a quick clean when you have a break.

Kinda sorta. I have one brass insert (getting more) and two Phantom barrels bored for Freaks. I have an S6 that could use a Freak, maybe I will get an AA front and Cocker and Impulse backs. Hmmm. |
