Less reliable is really not something I agree with, the mechanical Ion/Ion engine itself is a proven and very reliable design. Ill be releasing a stress test video within the coming two weeks as well as a review/tear down. Personally, I love the eNMey and haven't had this much fun in a long time. I hope to see tons of fields swapping out their tippmanns for these, I can see a lot of possibilities for the line.

I mean I was comparing the new Enmey to one of the most tested PB markers. The classic style valve from AGD is basically the benchmark for reliability. Further the rental version was even more BA in terms of the beating it could take.

Im sure GoGs marker will be tons more reliable then stacked tube blow backs from anyone, but even if they are a very solid marker, I just don't see something GOG put out for 125 matching the rock solid reliability of AGD legendary valve work.

I think the enemy should be very reliable. There sure are a lot less seals and orings to deal with.

Interesting.

I don't think I recall ever seeing a proper "stress test" published for any marker. Ever.

Proper stress test: infinite air, infinite paint (maybe reballs would be OK), run continuously, counting shots, until the gun fails. Inspect the failure.

Normal field use is the only stress testing i care about.

The results of those "tests" are already available, so you should be good to go.

Infinite air? Infinite paint? Till the gun fails? It's meant to be a beginner gun, so clearly it'll last for a while. I don't think most people have the time to endlessly fire a marker until it fails. Especially a mech.

That's certainly an... interesting bit of logic.

How long is a "while" anyways?

And when that "while" expires, what exactly will happen?

My thought on lasting is the thing sticking up on the trigger that hits and releases the air. It's plastic so might need some replacing.I am going out locally to let some of the rental crowd try it.
