So I take it this thing has some sort of improved 3-way valve in the trigger frame that eliminates the free-flowing flaw found in most mechanical Ion conversions? Will it be possible to short-stroke this thing? Also, |

The mech Ions work amazingly. Fast enough to outshoot a non-forcefed loader, and still just as smooth and quiet as a "real" Ion. I never got my personal one working, but that was just because the trigger I had in it had the activation point so high up that the bracket and noid wouldn't sit low enough in the frame for me to pack the hoses in. But a gun that works the same but designed that way from the start is going to be awesome.

I signed up to take the class assuming that it was going to be something GoG was releasing in a tier above the eXTCy. Figured it'd be something that I never would have spent the money on, but it'd be nice to have around for rare, occasional use without feeling bad about having something sitting in the bag 95% of the time that I'd spent a bunch of cash on. Now that I see more about what this gun actually is, though (assuming the speculations in this thread turn out to be accurate), I'm even more excited. I'd have bought one of these anyway. I want a semi for the days that I feel like being lazier than my Sheridans allow me to be, but I HATE buying batteries. Being taught how to work on it and given one for free is just icing on the cake.
