Yeah, imo they should've chosen the etha. It's a lot better for the price. I wonder if the reason they chose tippmann is for publicity or something like that.

"_____ of the Year" doesn't mean it has to be new. Just look at the car industry.

That said, I'd think that the Crossover gained points over the Etha based on being a new concept. Just-another-electronic-poppitt versus a pretty ground-breaking electro/mechanical offering is a pretty easy choice in my book. The Etha might be the "better" gun...but the Crossover is definitely the more imaginative.

i am with you on this. we also do not know what are qualifying circumstance to make it marker of the year. even thou the made it marker of the year. what where the guidelines and what was need to get item on the list to choice from.

Considering that APG is nothing but a bound copy for advertising, I'd wager it went to whoever spent the most.

It's a neat concept, but is anyone using it? I haven't played much this year but I haven't exactly heard a lot of chatter about the Crossover.
