The Crossover has been named “Marker of the Year” by Action Pursuit Games Magazine. This designation was established to recognize the most innovative new paintball products launched in 2012. The Crossover is one of just three products to be recognized this year and the only electro-pneumatic paintball marker in the group. Tippmann is also introducing a new demo program for the Crossover, which allows players a chance to try the marker prior to purchasing. A list of participating demo paintball dealers is coming soon. To read all the details, check out the Tippmann Blog at Tippmann Crossover .

Voted "electro-pneumatic marker of the year." That's somewhat important to point out.

Eh. There weren't exactly a lot of contenders in that category.

What do you mean by that? There were tons of electro-pneumatic guns to choose from.

The Crossover is designed and manufactured in the U.S.A. In Fort Wayne, IN to be exact.

Not many were new. Most were just rehashes of previous years, like most companies do. Or were not note-worthy in the least. But Tippmann released a new one...

Wait, didn't the Etha come out around the same time? Wonder how APG made the decision. Anyone read the article?

I didn't even know APG was still in print to be honest.
