Oh well, with the stock barrel plus my J&J, Lapco, and PPS barrels, I should be good for a while. I really hope that upgrade does come out eventually!

So I just got my hands on my hammer 7, took it out and put about 40 paintballs through it, overall, I'm very impressed with the marker especially when it comes to bang for your buck. The one thing I did notice was that the mag spring (9 round) seems fairly stiff. I took apart the mag and swapped out the spring with a spring for a PT Extreme 10 round feed. The new spring was a bit to long and when fully compressed the follower latch sat about 3/16 of an inch or so above the notch so you couldn't lock it down when loading and you could only fit 8 rounds, not 9. I may be able to fix this by snipping a few coils of the spring. Trying it out with 8 rounds and the softer spring though, it seemed to feed fine, granted I didn't try auto-triggering so I'm not sure if the softer spring will keep up with a higher feed rate.

hehehe!!! The Hammer 7 sounds so much like a prototype Falcon... when my whole team was running them we used it to great advantage to know where we were on the field in woodsball games (nobody elses guns made the sound). Of course, some would say it sounds like ****... but I liked it |
