I would first have him check the velocity screw. Using the velocity tool, He should back it out screw (counter-clockwise) and then screw it in (clockwise) 6 full turns. If the problem is still present. Then I suspect that the Cup Seal has become loose from the Power Tube. Tightening the Cup Seal should resolve the issue.

let me know if this resolves it.

I wanted to do the same thing. It's actually why I was asking what the grip was made of earlier, for adhesion purposes. So, how did you get that mounted back on there, Lou? Very nice, BTW!!!
