That is actually supposed to be there, it makes it the weakest point of the round yo prevent as many bounces as possible.

Thanks for the vid, that's great to see it in actual play. But yeah, I had planned on picking up a pair of MRX mags myself for three reasons.
1 - My local field doesn't do first strike (which is good because of the next reason).
2 - I couldn't afford to play FS on a regular basis anyways.
3 - The MRX mags are cheaper and hold an extra ball (which makes them perfect for tube reloading). If you're not using FS on a regular basis they just make more sense. At least until the 15 round mags are released!

Actually, on the subject of the mags, I was wondering if I could get something cleared up about Spyder mags not using the U-system (or whatever it's called) that Rap4 uses. I've heard several theories and wanted to know if any or all of them were correct. Is it mechanical (the U-shape is apparently unreliable), cost (the straight mags are simply cheaper to manufacture), or legal (Rap4 owns some sort of patent or copyright over the system)?

Not really life or death, but I've been curious ever since the MRX came out and no one made a mag this style for it. And it would be a neat addition on the underside of the Hammer without going as long as I imagine the 15-rounders are going to hang down.

So wait.. MRX mags work? Oh boy.... since I really only want them for normal paint this could be a win.
