Now I have a bit of time to type...

Lou, I backed the pump guide rod out about 3 turns to eliminate the "burping" while pumping. I plan to round the trigger guard, and the edges above the hand grip as they bite into my hands.

I noticed the issues with FS rounds not feeding and we decided that only placing 8 rounds in the magazine seemed to help.

I had the safety self destruct. I'm not positive why, but when I got the spring free from the mess, it was kinked very badly. I was able to repair it with an oring pick. Has anyone else had an issue with the safety spring and ball bearing?

I had the cupseal back off the powertube. I would recommend that you start by tightening it before the first use.

The raincover on the Hammer works well, though now you can very clearly hear the action and the hammer striking the valve.

I've been shooting valken redemption in my hammer 7 just fine with no breaks.

If you are having double feeding problems check your rear detent you may have broken it by turning the breech the wrong way.

Whatever happen to the spare bolt that got sent out?

Can somebody clarify the want people have for a straight asa? I saw Stuffy's thread gauging interest in making a straight asa and it seems to me that the 13 would be better for shouldering and sighting down the gun. Is the straight asa just a cosmetic thing?

I never had the barrel break problem with my sterling and the phantom guys seemed to be doing fine tonight..both of those are un-regulated CO2 markers. Seems like the phantoms especially should have exactly the same paint problems I was having...maybe I just was too caught up in my own frustrations and didn't notice their's.
The TPC is a big open thing that could cause some brittle paint to shred. You could try to replace it with a phantom one if the TPC threading is the same.
