Its great that this marker only cost me $130 but all the extra crap is starting to add up. $30 fancy mock silencer tip, $22 extra mag, $40 some first strike rounds, $40 crazy red dot site, and now $10 for a spring kit. After spending $272 I hope I can get this marker to work already.
Of that extra $142, how much of that actually went towards making the marker work? I understand your frustations, but c'mon now.

Instead of electrical tape you could use some cable ties (zip ties or wire ties). That way you won't leave any glue residue from the tape and it is as easy as a snip from a side cutters to take them apart.

why not just find longer versions of the mag screws and skewer them together, spacing them out with nuts and spacers so they can fit in the magwell?

Using nuts would work, but a bushing paired with a washer on each end would be better for spacing them out and would also look cleaner. I'm not certain on how well the mags would stay together and not split apart though.

Longer fasteners and bushings would be what I would try. Just make sure the gap is big enough that you can manipulate the follower that ends up on the inside.

You could always use a partially threaded standoff so each screw would bottom out and pull the mags together. Also, just have the follower side facing out, you'd just need to flip the mag around. I believe that's how the DAM connector works.

There are a bunch of blemishes on the internals so im gonna try polishing and possibly sand down the small bumps.
Ok... One issue at a time.

Farting - Are you referring to the burp noise that occurs when the marker is pumped quickly or the noise of the hammer bouncing against the valve after the trigger is pulled?

If it is the first, simply adjust the pump guide rod out a few turns. I had to adjust mine out about 3 turns to make sure it did not burp.

Have you checked the cupseal and confirmed it is tight? Mine came loose almost immediately, and caused velocity issues.

Confirm that there is a valve spring in the valve. Lack of this spring would cause hammer bounce, but should cause the velocity to be very high.

Consider looking to make sure the hole through the BBA is clear of any obstruction.

Consider testing with a remote line. If the bottle is screwed in too far, the regulator may not allow air to pass. We have seen this with a few brands of screw in regulators.

How is the paint to bore match? I would assume this is *not* actually the issue, as you are getting more, but not enough velocity out of FS rounds.

Now the stupid questions... Are you holding the pump arm forward?
Have you tried CO2, instead of HPA?

I can't think of any more questions or suggestions right now.

Ty

I dont have access to CO2 anymore but I am planning on picking up a 12 gram quick changer too and use it in conjunction with an l stock. Adjusting the pump rod out a few turns helped with the burping.

I will recheck the cupseal too and try changing it to the extra one that came with the marker. If that doesng work I will naturally blame the grips.

With co2 the velocity issue isn't a problem.
