Guys, where does this 200$ price tag come from? If you got that from ultimate's website, it doesn't say anything about the price changing after the presale ends. If you're reading the original price line make sure to look at the rest of their page. They list INFLATED retail prices and then list the real price as a "discounted price".

I'd actually pay 200 for this. I think we need to look at what it is. Depending on internals its a similar package to the trracer which was 120 for a base package. Except this is first strike mag fed. So that's adds some value there. The trracer had a shoddy stock bolt that many of us had to shell out around 25-30 for a stainless upgrade. Can't remember the exact price of lizard bolts . But that raises to ~150. If this has better internals. Either brass like the old hammers which would be cool. Or steel or even delrin. Than I'd say your probably getting your money's worth. I for one am getting one. Even though I'm not fond of the grip or what looks like the inability to attach a new one. I'm not fond of the pump handle nothave rails for fforegrip, Ithink iI'll try to attach the trracer one to it. And I'm not fond of that manual latch follower on the mag. But all and all I like it

Did the grip frame look to be a two piece or one piece. And did you happen to find out what the thread type was?

Handled the gun for like an hour at decay of nations it is pretty sick the stroke is reminiscent of an old hammer but more solid. The mags are well thought out. The straight ones are 9 rnd FS compatible. It is also compatible with all the other mags. The 45. frame is pretty comfy I couldn't complain. The grip frame is one piece. The barrel is spyder threaded but has this twistlock adapter that allows to switch between ammo types.

What does the mag look like at the top? It doesn't look like the MXR mag right?

Curved mags? Didn't a company make that in the 80s for nelsons (or maybe it was nelson based) and had tons of issues with jamming?
