no no no no. Do not get a single pane reflex sight... they SUCK to get hit in! I don't know how many direct hits they can take either, most of them aren't very sturdy. Get a 30mm red dot sight, tube style (forward and rear lens), they are extremely tough and can take an absolute beating... I've used one of mine for about 6 years and it's still going strong, zero issues, and many direct hits. I had a 40mm one take a few hits to the front lens and it eventually shattered, and my single pane reflex model I stopped using due to issues getting it clean (it would have failed eventually for sure).

This needs to happen. I'd be game for helping someone figure it out too.

I am going to try iron sights - I just ordered a set. The question being will the ghost ring be big enough for my tastes

I thought that express sights would be cool, but no one makes any that attach to picatinny rails

Tooling for something like that is ridiculous expensive unless your going to sell a few thousand pieces.

Couple of other options.

1. Make frame and magwell out of aluminum
2. Make frame only and beg DYE to buy their magwell and rig it to work
3. Cut magwell off of current frame, beg DYE and rig it once again.

I vote for option 1

Could work as well:
Option 4
Make DAM style mags that fit the existing magwell

so many mags lol.

i think a cross-compatible magwell would be more beneficial.

I'll probably end up doing option 1 if alpha doesnt 3D print anything.

i don't know why not. all i know is i have one-balled people in the face with my iron sight nelspot on multiple occasions, but i only made 2 out of 16 shots during the first strike sniper challenge where the gun was a tiberius rifle with a scope, shooting at a target the scope was sighted for and running out of mildots in the scope and still have the spotter tell me i'm shooting too low, while everyone else shoots it just fine... and that's my 2nd time taking that challenge. the first time i hit nothing. but when i tried out the hammer 7 with lmartin, the fsr fly where i point them just simply aiming down the barrel with no special scopes.
