HiViz Four-In-One Sight Set Shotgun Fiber Optic Sights F02008-1 Having started with, and to some extent prefer, speedball, you're right. And wrong. A lot of us say we sight down the side of the body, but it's just a better angle to eyeball our trace shots. However, it is possible to aim that way, once you've become accustomed to the trajectory of the ball with that method. Kinda like muscle memory, it's sight memory, if that makes sense. I also use another method to aim that a buddy taught me, which takes more time so i don't do it often but it works: line up the barrel in your peripheral vision, so it appears as if there's 2 barrels, then center your target between the barrel "images." Bingo. ApoC - a lot of my hits are on the gun, so very good call.

I like the idea of iron sights, too. Almost got a set for the Empire Trracer before i sold it... regret that decision... ![]() Thanks for the info. I've got some decisions to make, and money to spend.

And izon maybe your ideal than. Or irons either way but make sure that you have the clearance to aim through them. As for the sake eyes barrel trick yeah I've seen it. A friend tried to teach me that when we was trying to convince me to use an electro. It's just a fancy way of guessing. And I don't guess.

Since i'm partial to bottomlines, that seems to solve the mask situation, personally. My 13/3k has a butt stock cap, longer end pointing up, kinda like an L-stock, so the tank itself isn't all up in my mouth.

If someone else decides to do the designwork, I can easily offset some of the cost of printing a prototype... That's low impact work, that doesn't affect my regular clients. Turning a 3d print into a limited production part is a fairly simple process, too. You can actually print the molds for plastic casting, or you can draw a silicone mold. There are some modern cast plastics that are insanely durable. Ty... Something tells me that if you were local, I would be doing a lot more interesting stuff. Feel free to move to Denver, anytime. I've got a couch for ya. Last edited by alpha434; 01-05-2013 at 01:55 AM. | |

hey, say i buy one of those picatinny flip up sights. how easy is it for you guys to make a rear leaf that is a notch instead of an aperture? i presume it'll just be a chunk of plastic with a threaded hole across the bottom...
