Some people will just never be happy. This marker is designed for the newer player or the player who is contemplating magfed/Milsig play and does not want to break the bank. I personally would not even consider buying this if it was over $200 because It then competes with other high end FSR platform. $130 and a couple of mags, I can stomach that.

I'd rather pay $200 for it. Cause it seems that most of you have mods done right out the box.

What's funny for me is this actually comes closer to my standards than any of the other packages. Maybe except the Sar12. I really respect the sr1.but I feel it's impractical

It shoots fine out of the box. You got to remember 90% of the members here are tinkerer's by nature. They are going to mod it just to mod it. Perfect example being the $30 ER 2 pistol, that the thing and thread has so many mods done to it it is not even funny. The Hammer 7 is a perfect example of doing a pump based FSR marker at a entry level price and competing with the big guns on the market.

$200 MIGHT cover the cost of aluminium lower end, probably not
At least its not overseas of pot metal like other manufacturers magfed guns
I can see the Hammer not being for everyone,it got me interested in pump and magfed play,I think Kingman could have charged $200 for the Hammer and still gotten interest
Considering its only been available for 3 months(?) I cant wait to see the factory upgrades.I would like to see a factory upgraded model for more $
This is MCB,most new markers here would be modded&photoshopped long before anyone had one in their hands, its part of the fun of paintball,we cant play any day of the week like other sports

Nope.

200 wouldn't cover the cost of anything. The customer base drops off so quickly that there wouldn't be enough revenue at the 200 price point to cover engineering.

500 or so starts to get close for a lower volume, boutique product. And that's not much profit. Refer to the R7's.... There's maybe keystone profit on them at their current price point.

It's not really Kingman's style these days to sell upgrades for their guns, excepting parts that were already produced for a more upscale gun on their line that can be used to upgrade a lower-end gun.

They're more about releasing a completely revised version of the gun every year or two.
Think about the clamors with the MR-X for a first strike conversion kit which lead to the MR5.

I find it a really solid gun for $130 . . . sure, I spent a little money and added some iron sights to mine . . . and I will hit my parts box and make it bottomline instead of back bottle . . . neither of these changes are extreme in any way, just some basic run of the mill personalization.

I find the snarking on it kind of odd because I see it as a whole lot of paintgun for $130

Quick question, I know its been discussed but its a ways back. I cant get my hammer past 230fps, what needs to be looked at internally to fix this issue?
