Spyder has impressed me for the first time ever with these 2 new markers, very well done. I hope we keep seeing more mag fed and First Strike capable markers no matter who makes them.

From the looks of it and from the video of the mr5 you have to slide the mag Into the magwel but instead of the follower automatically becoming unlatched and forcing the balls into the breach. It appear you have to then flip the little follower catch out of that notch allowing the spring to begin providing positive tension. I find that to be very annoying

You need to pull that follower tab in order for the balls to feed. The magazines don't do it on their own.

Which isn't that big of a deal IMO. Every spring feed has that, so why would this be much different. The system on the TPX is nice, but adds to the complexity and potentially the price/fragility. Of course with $25 mags, the price argument doesn't hold much water.
