Just got one. Sear won't catch on the bolt. It seems like when I pull the bolt back, the hammer assembly won't stay far enough forward to engage ridge on the bolt. Any ideas?

EDIT - It has to have air running into it doesn't it?
Duh
I don't have a bottle with any air in it.

I just spent about 20 minutes doing some sanding on the pump handle and my freak barrel now fits! Happy Camper.

This occur after gassing up? Can't cock a nelson without gas/air.

i know some carters can lock the bolt without air.

it requires some fancy tuning which is beyond me.

can someone do all of us idiots a favor and post about it?

I believe you need a harder valve spring to be able to cock with out air or softer main spring

it is very, very uncommon for a nelson based paintgun to be able to cock hammer when there is no gas in the paintgun
