Anyone think it'd be possible to do a DSP-esque (see picture below)12 gram in grip option with these? I know you can do gas through with phantoms/other nelsons but I would be worried about possibly weakening the frame. Suppose you could reinforce it though

Something like this

i think something like that would require to have a metal frame. You don't want the grip moving slightly while having c02 in the grip.

I figured you just have it all self contained with an ASA to fitting, then some line then a fitting into the valve. I have my hammer 7 apart and it seems like it could all fit, I would just be worried about the structural integrity of the frame becoming compromised. However, the hollow sections of the frame could be filled with metal/bondo/plastic filler to help strengthen the frame, and the 12g changer itself would help on the back end.

But its grip was much larger than standard .45
The Eagle 68 pistol was close, but even it didn't have removable grip panels.
To my knowledge, there's never been a paintball marker with a plastic .45 frame (of true 1911 dimensions) that had a 12-gram adapter running through it.
