They have also announced an Egrip version (from Ultimate Paintball's FB as well) "Spyder EMR-5! And all of these upgrades will be available for the MRX series of markers! First Strike, E-grip, Barrels, Sights etc!"

Keebler, I like that the Hammer has a standard AR-15 mount grip. Makes it way easy to modify with aftermarket parts like CCM's CZ grip, Sergison Humpback, Pachmayer revolver grip or even a CCI frame.

I don't think it does if you look at it it appears to be one piece and I don't like being stuck with the 45s if it's detachable than yeah I agree who cares ill just switch it out. But me personally I like the standard ar grip

yeah Spyder is using twist lock barrels on their guns. Not sure if the Hammer is the same way but I'd expect this gun to use the same system as the MRX. No big deal...someone will whip up an adapter.
