That video is awesome. And very clever on their mag design. Now we just need a rotor based box mag or first strike drum mag.

Interesting that the stock takes AR15 parts..

The next thing that should be made are windowed mags (unless Magpul has a patent on them). It certainly looks like it's possible.

I'd also like to see a drop-forward so larger tanks can be used with the stock.

Dye Paintball - Stock DAM Light Weight - Black

You can fit a bigger tank.

I really enjoy seeing the thought/engineering that went into this. Now if they only had a less expensive version for us people that are poor.

My only beef: $1300 and they couldn't afford to use stainless steel fasteners. Minor, but it shows class.

so you like the engineering but dont like the price? what do you think you are paying for? there is a reason the saying "you get what you pay for" applies here.

at work we have a saying I think is relevant in this case. There are three options

cheap, accurate and fast. in any situation you get to pick two but the third option will not be true. ie you can have cheap and fast but it wont be accurate, etc.

I don't have a problem with the price. I know you get what you pay for. I'm just saying if they had a simpler version I would buy it since I don't have $1300, but if I did I would be all over this.

ah, gotcha. maybe after they get as many people on the fence to lean to the 1300 version as they can, they will introduce the DAM light. kinda of like the DM and Rail lines. but in the end, i am guessing the hypothetical cheaper version people will just end up wishing they got the real (full) version.
