I need to buy some of that tactical string to mount my 12 grams to my SR-1.
Yea balz, the feed is offset.
If you don't want to buy a adjustable riser buy a high end crossbow scope. But it's gonna cost you more than the riser and scope combined.

Barrel?

Does anybody know of any first strike rifled barrels in cocker threads? Or has anybody tried using any other rifled barrels, like the hammerhead stuff on the DAM? From past experience I believe the stock ultralight barrel to be one of the best barrels on the market for shooting round paint, but for FS shots I'd like to maximize the benefit from the rifled FS rounds.

Just wondering if anybody had tried anything.

Hammerheads work well on the dam, I've heard good things about flasc barrels as well.

Does anyone know how to order one of the hard cases that is coming with the current DAM's?

No response from emailing Dye last week.

i ran a .678 eigenbarrel on mine. Even with FS rounds. FLAWLESS, actually had much more consistancy to the grouping with FS with eigenbarrel as well.

You shot FS out of a .678 bore? Smallest i would go is .687, i actually had a FS fin get stuck in a .679 bore, end up having to hammer it out with a wooden dowl!

Nice, voodoo. I'd never even heard of the eigenbarrel before. Looks like their bread and butter is underboring, biggest advertised on their website is .684. Not rifled through, right? Also, did you try it with round paint? I'm assuming more natural fit with round paint.

Also, very interested to hear about the hammerhead. I was looking into their barrel. Glad to see somebody trying it out for me

the 684 eigen is an amazing barrel as well. I have 2 of them. And yes paintman, I tried it just to see if it would work bc i thought maybe they wouldnt fit. It worked though I was suprised. Id prob suggest running the 684 though bc I have no idea how the fins might affect the 78 after accumulated use.
