I use the hammerhead barrel on mine with the autococker fins. The .686 seems the best to me for first strikes. It makes a huge difference for first strikes, if you use a smooth bore, it seems to take about 20 yards for the round to stabilize. The hammerhead is designed to work with regular paintballs and although rifling doesn't really seem to help them, it doesn't seem to hurt them either. I've found that with the .686, when I chrono with Nelson Anarchy, the first strikes are only a little faster which works great because if you turn the velocity up to much with the rifling on the hammerhead, it will start to cause the balls to curve.

From this post here: DYE DAM (DYE Assault Matrix)

Some measurements were given, but the chap wasn't able to reconfirm his measurements as he didn't have his caliper, and I don't see any other posts in the thread.

I need to order some metal, but won't be getting the mag's till next month, but really need to know the accurate measurement of the width of the mag (The one listed as 2.75".) Could someone possibly confirm this measurement as what I have in mind will be a very snug fit.

Don't worry about next gen. Focus on a box mag and air stock

I have been seeing some talk regrading a new upgraded Dye Dam bolt. All I'm trying to do is confirm that the post is real and not miss leading. It clams that he swapped out his old bolt with a new upgraded bolt from Dye.....after this he was able to chromo over 280fps with no leaks...
This is what I found on FB.
