Kevinatdye, Can't wait. 10 minutes is just too short for scenarios. Otherwise I love my DAM!

60 mins is too short for a scenario. In fact auto shutoffs do not belong on paintball equipment.

I think 60 minutes would be adequate but it would be nice to shut it off completely...hell, 30 minutes is better than 10.

kevinatdye - does the new box rotor come with a new RF board, and does it include the updated timeout?

If it does that might be the tipping point on me getting one.

@Chappy - Its a safety feature that we feel is necessary. The guns can hold a residual charge for a very long time. I once pulled a gun out of a month of storage, and it still had enough pressure to fire a shot when I powered it up. If you put your gun away without degassing it and there is a ball in the breach and the gun was never turned off... that's a dangerous recipe. The auto-shut off helps avoid that scenario.

@UThomas - Yes, when they become available the Box Rotor will have an updated board included for all the guns that don't have the updated board. New production guns will have the updated board out of the box. Eventually we will offer it as a stand alone also.

I guess all my guns are safety hazards. Cant turn a single one of 'em off.

I would by one for my matrixes.
Have you tried the nail polish trick? Put a dap of nail polish on the left and right side of the detents. That should tighten things up a bit for really small paint problems.
